Rowan house are a family. We work as a team to support each other. We respect each other and are proud to contribute to the school. As a house we are loyal to the school and each other and we try to include everyone and listen to their voice. We are hard working, trustworthy enthusiastic and persevere in all of our tasks.

As a house we aim to do our best at all times and this ethos has been promoted through the house Charter. This charter was generated by the students, led by the house council. All students had their say in how it was worded and what important words were to be used to describe a house that they have become proud to be part of.

Many of the students in Rowan house have great and varied talents. Some students, either individually or as part of the tutor group, have organised fund raising activities to help support the Rowan House Charity, The Berkshire Air Ambulance. Others have dedicated their time to supporting students within the school either as peer mentors or as new student buddies.  Our House council members have worked tirelessly to bring the student voice to the fore and frequently discuss with their tutor groups issues that affect them as part of the school.

Currently our house council is made up from:

R1 Jodie Hill, Shannon Frame

R2 Joshua Collins, Daniel White

R3 Kelly Adams, Laura Peters

R4

R5 Emma Martin

R6

R7 Chris Watkins, Natasha Parker

R8 Kurt Frame

We are very proud of all the students within Rowan house and the contributions they make to the school. With all this talent and dedication, it is no wonder that Rowan house is a very special and important House within Easthampstead Park Community School.
