History is the exploration of the past, from the court of King Henry the VIII to the battle-torn trenches of the First World War. It is an investigation into the mistakes, successes and heritage of both powerful and ordinary people who have lived in truly extraordinary times. It is a subject that recognises the contributions different people have made through the ages and how this affects our lives today. In lessons, you will explore a variety of different time periods and learn to come to your own conclusions about the people that lived in them. You will decide what areas of history hold the greatest horrors, the biggest surprises and the greatest triumphs the human race has ever experienced. History at Easthampstead Park Community School is brought to life for all our students; our experienced staff prepare well resourced and professional lessons to enable students to reach their potential in a challenging, yet exciting subject.
