In tutor time Year 7 students have worked together to share vocabulary linked with Remembrance Day competition set by the History Department.

TASK: to create a poem or a short story based on Remembrance Day.

The work completed in tutor time aims to support students in the History competition, as well aiming to improve general use of vocabulary and spelling.

Please read on and share the thoughts of Year 7 students as well as some famous War Poems.

Students – aim to learn the vocabulary and use it in ALL of your lessons in both speaking and writing activities

Parents – encourage your daughter/son to learn the vocabulary in the vocabulary and poetry pages. Hints on how to learn spellings can be found in the SUPPORT pages.
