KS4 main curricular themes or areas of study:

PDC in Key Stage 4 contains and develops ALL the elements of the KS3 programme of study. WRL is taught as a discreet subject in Key Stage 4. Year 10 WRL programme to include:

British Safety Council Entry Level Award in Workplace Hazard Awareness Accreditation
Experience of Work Practices and Environments (Work Experience week Year 10, Extended work experience Year 11).
Developing awareness of the extent of the diversity of local and national opportunities, Analysing Career trends and Post 16 option choices (using LMI) and stress management are also important components.

In Years 10 and 11 PDC is supported by external agencies delivering a variety of topical issues for debate.
