Exam Invigilators

£14.23 per hour (including London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement).

We are looking to recruit a pool of reliable people to support examinations.  Working hours are typically from 8.30am until 12.30pm for morning sessions and 1.00pm until 4.00pm for afternoon sessions.  Our invigilators work whole day sessions if required and flexibility is crucial to the effective invigilation of exams.

The role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process.  In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ guidelines, the successful applicant will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating exams and collating papers to be sent off to the Exam Board.

Salary: MPR/UPS (Fringe) + possible TLR for science curriculum development

A fantastic opportunity awaits you; a chance to join a dynamic and supportive Science department in a forward-thinking school. The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is keen not only to contribute to developing and collaborating on resourcing and best practice pedagogy, but also to take a lead in their own personal development, keeping abreast of change and sharing experience, knowledge and ideas with the Science team.  They will join a strong and supportive team of experts, who are fun, welcoming and creative. For the right candidate with relevant experience, we would consider a TLR responsibility, working closely with the Head of Department on leading the Science curriculum.
