When did you attend EPCS?
September 1980 and left June 1989 (as I did not get my grades to do my A levels I resat my exams and then did my A Levels)
What are you most proud of?
Some of my tutors told me I would not pass certain exams and I proved them wrong by passing them first time round.
What is your favourite memory from school?
Representing the school in hockey and netball but also doing readings for the Christmas Carol Services.
Would you do anything differently if you had your time at school again?
Work harder to get better grades.
What is the most valuable thing you learned at school?
Don’t give into peer pressure, go with what your heart tells you and never ever let a bully get the better of you – tell someone.
What did you do immediately after leaving school?
Went to work, was a Civil Servant for over 22 years (Training and Development).
Did you go to a college/university?
I was accepted to my three choices to study to become a teacher, but didn’t go due to my beliefs with regards to the National Curriculum.
What is your current job?
Work with the Security Team at Broadmoor Hospital.
