Due to a growing number of Year 7 parents and students selecting our school as their first choice for September 2025, we are seeking to appoint an additional Teacher of Science. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is keen not only to contribute to developing and collaborating on resourcing and best practice pedagogy, but also to take a lead in their own personal development, keeping abreast of change and sharing experience, knowledge and ideas with the Science team.  They will join a strong and supportive team of experts, who are fun, welcoming and creative.

Cover Supervisor

Salary: KGA05-6 – £20,380 per annum (£14.10 per hour) including London Fringe and Holiday Entitlement.

33 hours per week: 8.45am to 4.15pm 3 days a week and 3.15pm finish on 2 days (with 30 minutes unpaid break), term-time only

We are currently seeking a keen and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our school. Cover Supervisors play a very important role in the school by leading classes and facilitating learning in the event of a teacher being absent from school. The role is very varied and involves delivering cover lessons that have been planned by subject specialists, using the resources that a teacher has provided. The role may suit a recent graduate keen to broaden their skillset and possibly consider a career in teaching. Alternatively, the role may suit someone who has prior experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant, and is keen for a new challenge!

Maintenance and Security Operative (PM shift)

Pay Grade:  KGA-02, £27,121 per annum inclusive of London Weighting and contractual overtime

Annual Leave: 26 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service), plus bank holidays

Core Hours:  39 hours per week – 37 hours plus 2 hours contracted overtime (paid at time and a half), Monday to Friday, *2pm to 10.30pm (9pm on Friday), plus usually one Saturday in four on a rota basis (as required) paid on a timesheet.  The hours include a half hour unpaid break.

*Flexibility of working hours is essential to cover absence / school demand as the Site Team operate between the hours of 5.30am to 10.30pm

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Maintenance and Security Operative to support the Site Manager and work as part of the Site Team to provide an efficient and competent support service to the school.

You will actively ensure that the school premises and site are safe, clean and secure at all times and will be a key contact for our daily lettings. In addition to flexibility, you should have the skills and a proven record in building maintenance or the desire to learn. Good Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage.

Communication Support Assistant 

Pay Grade: KGA03 (points 3 to 4) – FTE £25,525 to £25,930 starting on £13.23 per hour

Actual Starting Salary: £15,936 per annum inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement.

Hours:  27.5 hours per week (flexibility required), Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, (includes a 30 minute unpaid break).  Term time only.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard-working, with energy, drive, and passion. You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCo to provide support to address the needs of individuals or small groups of students with autism who may require specific help to overcome barriers to learning.

This role may also suit a graduate who is looking at a future career in teaching.

The Learning Support Department plays an important role in the work of the school and you would join a friendly and supportive staff.

Exam Invigilators

Pay Grade: KGA03-4, £15.49 per hour inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement.

We are looking to recruit a pool of reliable people to support examinations.  Working hours are typically from 8.30am until 12.30pm for morning sessions and 1.00pm until 4.00pm for afternoon sessions.  Our invigilators work whole day sessions if required and flexibility is crucial to the effective invigilation of exams.

The role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process.  In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ guidelines, the successful applicant will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating exams and collating papers to be sent off to the Exam Board.
