Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

KGA band 6, points 11 to 13 – FTE: £26,286 – £28,515 per annum including London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement.
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4,00pm including half an hour unpaid break, term time only
Under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher responsible for Inclusion, you will design and lead interventions with an academic focus within English, aimed at ensuring our students leave school as happy, healthy and self-confident individuals achieving the best outcomes with their key skills. You will be instrumental in ensuring the provision needed for those with additional needs is implemented as part of an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

Exam Invigilators

£12.90 per hour (including London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement).
We are looking to recruit a pool of reliable people to support examinations. Working hours are typically from 8.30am until 12.30pm for morning sessions and 1.00pm until 4.00pm for afternoon sessions. Our invigilators work whole day sessions if required and flexibility is crucial to the effective invigilation of exams.
The role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ guidelines, the successful applicant will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating exams and collating papers to be sent off to the Exam Board.

Learning Support Assistant

KGA02-2, £13,776 per annum (currently £10.94 per hour which could increase to £11.94 per hour once the NJC Pay Award is confirmed), current FTE £21,104 per annum (£23,029 possible – Pay Award pending), inclusive of London Fringe and Holiday Entitlement.
28 hrs 45 minutes per week, Monday – Friday 08.50am – 3.10pm (including a 35-minute unpaid break), term-time only.
To commence September 2023.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard-working, with energy, drive, and passion. You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCo to provide support to address the needs of individuals or small groups of students who may require specific help to overcome barriers to learning. This role may also suit a graduate who is looking at a future career in teaching.
