Following the retirement of a long-serving member of staff, we are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Part Time Teacher of KS5 Business Studies (number of days each week to be negotiated with the right candidate). Student uptake for KS5 Business Studies at our school is very healthy, and the successful candidate would be the main teacher of classes in Years 12 and 13. We currently teach the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Business. A willingness to also teach some Business Studies in Year 11 would be an advantage but is not essential.

Pay Grade BG-H 15-19 capped – £21,600 to £23,334 per annum including London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement

37 per week – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (4.30pm on Fridays) including 40 minute and 20-minute unpaid breaks.  Term time including Inset Days plus 6 days’ equivalent (44.5 hours). (The additional hours are in support of attending social services meetings during holiday time which cannot be set).

The Assistant to the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) has responsibility to work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (ADDSL) undertaking the activities of the Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for all child protection issues within Easthampstead Park Community School.  The role and responsibilities associated are detailed in the Job description.

Pay Grade BG-J3, £7,449.60 per annum (£10.12 per hour – pay award pending), includes London Fringe and Holiday Entitlement  

17 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 1.00pm to 4.30pm, (4.00pm finish on Friday), term time only.

The successful applicant will need to be a good team player and willing to assist in all areas of a busy school office; reception will be the main focus of this role.

The role of the receptionist is at the very heart of the way the school presents itself to the public.  This is a high-profile appointment; the incumbent must be able to think clearly, prioritise efficiently and communicate calmly and effectively.

A professional telephone manner and effective written communication, usually via email, are key facets of the role.  The ability to use applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs and Sheets is essential.

Staff in the Administration Department support the school in a variety of areas to ensure school systems function effectively; reception, administration, reprographics and student welfare.  You will join a professional, friendly and cohesive team.

Site Operative (unlocking) – part-time AM

Pay Grade BG-K2 £5,398 pro rata per annum (hourly rate £9.92),  inclusive of Holiday Entitlement and London Weighting. 

12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5.30am-8.00am, with the opportunity of additional hours paid via timesheet, to cover absence.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Site Operative to support the Site Manager and work as part of the Site Team to provide an efficient and competent support service to the School.

Your main duties will be to open the site up each morning in readiness for the school day and checking that the school premises and environment are safe and clean.  The position is term-time only plus the first Inset Day on the return to school in September. You will also have the opportunity of additional hours paid via timesheet to cover absence which may be during the day, in holiday periods or to cover Saturday lettings on occasion.  Good Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage.

Exam Invigilators

Pay Grade BG J4; £11.55 per hour (including London fringe and holiday entitlement)

We are looking to recruit a pool of reliable people to support examinations.  Working hours are typically from 8.30am until 12.30pm for morning sessions and 1.00pm until 4.00pm for afternoon sessions.  Our invigilators work whole day sessions if required and flexibility is crucial to the effective invigilation of exams.

The role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process.  In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ guidelines, the successful applicant will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating exams and collating papers to be sent off to the Exam Board.

No experience is needed as full training will be given but experience of working with young people will of course be an advantage. The main examination period is during May and June and you must be available to cover at least 4 exams a week during the summer series. There will be other examinations requiring invigilators at other times of the year.

Learning Support Assistant

Pay Grade BG K2, £12359 per annum (£9.93 per hour), inclusive of London Fringe.

28 hrs 45 minutes per week, Monday – Friday 8.50am – 3.10pm (including a 35-minute unpaid break), term-time only.  Fixed Term Contract initially to 31 August 2023.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard-working, with energy, drive, and passion.  You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCo to provide support to address the needs of individuals or small groups of students who may require specific help to overcome barriers to learning. This role may also suit a graduate who is looking at a future career in teaching.
