Dear Parents/Carers

Year 11 Update

It was wonderful to see so many students attend the end of year assembly on Friday 11 June.  It was a lovely morning and really showed just how far each student has come since joining Easthampstead Park Community School. You have much to celebrate and be proud of.

Please see below some updates on what will be happening for Year 11 students over the coming weeks.

Prom
In light of the delay to the removal of social restrictions, the date of the Prom has been moved to Tuesday 20 July.   The venue and what is available at the Prom remains the same, all that has changed is the date.  As previously shared, this has been set up by a parent group and the school is supporting this.  A Facebook group has been set up where you will be able to obtain responses to any questions you may have.   You will find it by following this link EPCS – Year 11 Prom Committee | Facebook

Exam Grade Collection
Students are invited to collect their results on Thursday 12 August between 9.00am and 11.00am.  Entry to the school site will be via the lower playground gates.  Dependent upon COVID-19 guidelines by August, appropriate procedures will be in place to ensure safe in-person collection.

To keep numbers to a minimum, unfortunately it will not be possible for you to accompany your child onto the school site for the collection process.  Students can of course collect their results and return to you to open them off-site.

We are able to email results to students if they do not wish to attend in person to collect them and results will be emailed to students’ school email addresses.  If your child wishes to have their results emailed to them, they will need to complete the form via this link 2021 Results Collection – Email request (google.com)

Your child will need to be the one who accesses this link and completes the details required.  This link has also been shared with them via their school email.

Parent/Carer Feedback
Looking back on your child’s time at EP, we would welcome your comments and feedback on the quality of education you feel the school has provided your child.  This is an important part of our self-evaluation as it helps us to celebrate what is going well, and to reflect on how we can be even better.

Please see the link below to a parent feedback questionnaire.  Please submit your response by Monday 28 June.    https://forms.gle/R6tXKthyhMgmQvSJ6

Thank you for your support.

Yours faithfully

Mr T Ayliffe,
Head of Year 11
