Democracy in School
At EPCS, the students play a key role in the leadership of our school. We have a Discovery School and Destiny School student parliament, featuring representatives from each tutor group. Tutor group representatives are elected by students and staff, and at the start of the year go through an election process, part of which involves writing a manifesto.
There are other opportunities for students to lead the school. We have a vibrant team of student teaching and learning champions who help observe lessons and contribute to teacher CPD, a team of digital leaders who lead the development of ICT, and a team of sports ambassadors. To learn more about our student leadership structures, please see the document to the right.
